Stars Supporting Stars (S3) is a peer mentorship program built around a simple promise: every younger student who needs a friend gets one, and a school counselor sees how they're doing every day. We built this app so other schools can run the program too.

The S3 program runs on paper "star logs." Each mentor hands in a half-sheet every day. School counselors review the stack manually after lunch, scan for flags, retype attendance into a spreadsheet, and try to remember which mentees were in the yellow zone last Tuesday.
By the time a flag is reviewed, the moment has often passed. By the time leadership asks for trend data, the spreadsheet doesn't have it.
Mentors tap their tile on the tablet, mark Present or Absent, pick a Zone (Blue/Green/Yellow/Red), check the 🚩 if a mentee needs follow-up. Two minutes. School counselors see live flags on a dashboard, attendance trends across rounds, and a 730-day audit log. No retyping required.
The vocabulary is the program's vocabulary: rounds, mentor pairs, Zones, "C" flag. Your school counselors recognize every screen.
